Gautam Buddha University, established in August 2008, has come a long way to become one of the leading universities in the state of Uttar Pradesh as well as in the country. By pursuing excellence in teaching and research in science and technology, humanities, social sciences, management and technology, the University supports excellence and innovation in academic programmes through its constituent schools. Located at Greater Noida, one of the fastest emerging educational hubs in the state, the University focuses on making good use of its strong educational interfaces to motivate young and talented individuals to meet the global challenges with the help of latest technology and highly qualified faculty members.
Educational Streams
As a full-fledged university, Gautam Buddha University has 8 constituent schools, credited under its able patronage and has been conducting a wide variety of graduate, post graduate and research programmes, ranging from management, technical and pharmacy to education and social sciences. The University promotes excellence in research, scholarship and teaching and is dedicated towards nurturing the students and recruiting faculty excelling at teaching and research. History
Incepted by 2008 under the UP Act (9) of 2002, the University has led the way in reform movements and aims to be one of the major contributors in India’s educational infrastructure. It has been funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNOIDA) with the vision of providing quality technical and professional education within a modern educational environment and strong academic staff.
