Warner School of Food & Dairy Technology was formed with the very inception of the then Allahabad Agriculture University in 1924. The college was started with the objective of catering the need of able technocrats in the field of dairy & food processing. The school facilitates distinctive departments which help in the smooth functioning of the academic activities. As a constituent school of SHIATS Allahabad, Warner School of Food & Dairy Technology organizes and conducts various undergraduate, post graduate and research programmes across a wide spectrum of subjects in Dairy & Food Science Technology. These courses have been designed in such a way that they promote the use of natural resources, ecological security and sustainability in productivity of the crops.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, & Biology (PCMB) or Inter Agriculture with minimum 50% marks (for general candidates) or 45% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for B Sc in Food Technology / B Tech in Dairy Technology programmes offered here.

Diploma:
Students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent exam with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, & Biology (PCMB) or Inter Agriculture can apply for Indian Dairy Diploma programmes.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have pursued B Sc Agriculture of four years duration or B Sc in Dairy Technology or B Sc with IDD or related field can apply for M Sc in Dairy Technology courses. Similarly, students with B Sc in Agriculture / Horticulture / Food Science & Technology / Home Science with elective in Food Science & Nutrition / B Sc Biotechnology / B E or B Tech in Agriculture Engineering / Food Engineering are eligible to apply for M Sc in Food Science & Technology courses. Candidates with BE or B Tech in Agriculture Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Food Engineering / B Tech Dairy Technology or M Sc in Dairy Technology or related field can apply for M Tech in Dairy Technology.
Doctorate:
Candidates who have completed masters in regular subjects with minimum 55% marks are eligible for the doctoral programmes.
