Dr Rohit Mehta, a renowned thinker and frontline theosophist, founded Vasant Kanya Mahavidyalaya (VKM) PG College in the year 1954. The college has an elegant campus, located in the heart of the holy city Varanasi (Kashi), incorporated with all essential amenities conducive for the smooth conduct of education. VKM PG College is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University and conducts various undergraduate, postgraduate and career-oriented courses under the guidance of experienced teaching staffs. The college has been imparting qualitative education to the women community since its inception and has changed the perception of Indian women about the life and its values by giving them individual identity in the society.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized Board / College are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to appear in All India Entrance Test, conducted by BHU.

Post Graduate:
Those who have passed bachelor degree examination in any stream from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. However, they should appear in PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test), conducted by BHU.
Doctorate:
Candidates who have passed master degree examination in relevant stream from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to appear in CRET, conducted by the University.
