Sudha Lal Women’s College, established in 2009 by SHIATS Allahabad, is contributing highly qualitative education for the empowerment of women. Located at Naini, an economically and educationally backward area of Allahabad, the college is committed towards providing higher learning for the girl students. The college was named after Dr Sudha Lal, wife of first founder Vice-Chancellor of the Deemed-to-be-University SHIATS and also the coordinator of women’s welfare for over 15 years. The college provides a platform to enhance and enrich innate capabilities lying in the women students by organizing several co-curricular and extra curricular activities. Sudha Lal Women’s College conducts higher educational degrees like MA (Master of Arts) in Education and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) programmes.

Post Graduate:
Women graduates in any discipline with 50% marks having Education as one of the subjects in BA or B Ed are eligible to apply for MA in Education programme.
Doctorate:
Candidates who have obtained Master’s degree in relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks are eligible for the doctoral programme.
