As a constituent unit, the school is situated in the renowned holy city of Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh, within the sprawling campus of SHIATS. The school is well-furnished with excellent infrastructure facilities laced with all modern educational aids for effective teaching and learning. It fulfills the objective of research and advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of forestry and environment science through highly qualified and skilled faculty members. The school conducts doctorate programme as follows:

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, & Biology (PCB) or any Inter Agricultural subject with at least 50% marks (for general candidates) or 45% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for B Sc in Horticulture / Agriculture.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have completed B Sc in Agriculture / Forestry / Pure Sciences / Geology / Environmental science / Biology or B V Sc or B Sc PCM or B Sc with one year Diploma in Environmental Science or related field with minimum 55% marks (for general candidates) or 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for M Sc programmes in the relevant subject. However, those who have completed their graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks are eligible for MBA programme in Forestry and Environment Management.
Doctorate:
Candidates who have completed their masters in regular subjects with minimum 55% marks are eligible for the doctoral programmes.
