Admission Procedure and Eligibility:
Undergraduate:Students who have passed 10+2, or its equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks are eligible to apply for B Sc (Hons) courses. Similarly, those who have completed 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate in Class X and XII in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 60% marks can apply for B Tech courses. Post Graduate Diploma: Candidates who have done B Tech in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or B Sc (Hons) in Biotechnology / Medical Biotechnology or B Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) are eligible for the PG Diploma programme. Post Graduate: Graduate candidates in Life Sciences subjects / Computer Science with at least 60% marks at both graduation and 10+2 level are eligible to apply for M Sc courses. Similarly, those who have done B Tech in Life Sciences / Chemical & Bio Chemical Engineering or M Sc in Life Sciences / Chemistry / Biochemistry with at least 60% marks both at graduation and 10+2 level are eligible for M Tech in Biochemical Engineering. Candidates who have completed B Tech in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Medical Biotechnology or M Sc Biotech / Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks both at graduation and 10+2 level are eligible for M Tech in Biotechnology. Graduates in Life Sciences subjects with minimum 50% marks can apply for MBA programme. Doctorate: Candidates with Master’s degree in any relevant subject are eligible for the PhD programme. Dual: Candidates who have passed 10+2 with at least 60% marks from a recognized Board are eligible for the dual degree programme (B Sc + M Sc) in Biotechnology. Similarly, those who have completed 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate in Class X and XII in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with at least 60% marks can apply for dual degree programmme (B Tech + M Tech) course in Biotechnology.
