Allahabad School of Agriculture, being a constituent school of the renowned SHIATS Allahabad, is one of the oldest agricultural institutes of India. Located in the culturally rich city of Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh, the school was founded in the early 90’s with the inception of the foremost Allahabad Agricultural Institute. Since then, it has been serving the higher educational needs of the students to turn them into first-rate agricultural entrepreneurs and agri-business managers of the future generation. Allahabad School of Agriculture, well equipped with advanced state-of-the-art facilities, focuses on qualitative academic and extension activities in agriculture through several degree programmes. Admission Procedure and Eligibility:

Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with science subjects Physics, Chemistry, & Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, & Biology (PCB) or any Inter Agricultural subject with at least 50% marks (for general candidates) or 45% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for B Sc in Horticulture / Agriculture.

Post Graduate Diploma:
Candidates who have pursued B Sc in Agriculture / Forestry / related field with at least 55% marks (for general candidates) or 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for PG Diploma programmes offered here.

Post Graduate:
Candidates who have completed B Sc in Agriculture / Biology / Horticulture / Home Science / Home Economics / Forestry / Biotechnology / Life Sciences or BA in Economics / Business Economics or BBA / BBM or related field with minimum 55% marks (for general candidates) or 50% marks (for SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for M Sc programmes in relevant subject. However, those who have completed B Sc in Home Science / Forestry / Vet Science & AH / Agriculture / Horticulture or B Tech in Agriculture Engineering / Food Technology / Diary Technology or equivalent with at least 50% marks at graduation level are eligible for MBA programme in Agri Business.
Doctorate:
Post graduates in regular subjects with minimum 55% marks are eligible for the doctoral programmes.
