Faculty of Law AMU

One of the oldest institutions for obtaining higher education in legal studies in India, Faculty of Law AMU came into existence in the year 1894. The college is renowned for its high standard of education and has given many legal professionals to the country. At present, it stands elegantly amidst education friendly environs of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and boasts of an excellent campus, equipped with apt facilities. Moreover, the infrastructure of the institute is world class and offers a holistic environment to the students to cultivate their skills and knowledge. Faculty of Law AMU is an integral part of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, and conducts integrated and postgraduate degree programmes in legal studies. The academic programmes of the institute are duly approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

Post Graduate:
Admission seekers should pass bachelor degree examination in legal education (LLB) with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University / College to be eligible for application. In addition, they have to qualify entrance test, conducted by AMU, Aligarh.
Those who have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 55% marks from any state / national board are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to qualify entrance test, conducted by AMU, Aligarh.
