One of the oldest legal education institutions in India, Faculty of Law Allahabad University came into inception in the year 1872, under the law department of Muir College (now, University of Allahabad). At present, the college is an affiliating centre of the University of Allahabad and boasts of an excellent campus spread across serene locales of Allahabad city. Moreover, it has world-class infrastructure, equipped with modern facilities. Under the affiliation of the University of Allahabad, the college conducts bachelor, master and doctorate degree programmes in legal education as per the guidelines prescribed by the Bar Council of India (BCI). Since its inception, the college has been rendering quality education to the students through a team of qualified teaching personalities and has produced eminent law professionals, who have played an important role in strengthening the legal system of India.

Admission Procedure and Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed bachelor degree examination with minimum 45% (40% for SC / ST candidates) marks from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. In addition, they have to qualify LAT, conducted by the University of Allahabad.

Post Graduate:
Bachelor degree holders in legal education securing minimum 45% marks from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply. However, those who have appeared for final year LLB examination cna also apply. Appearing in LLM Admission Test of the University is must for all applicants.
Doctorate:
Master degree holders in legal education securing minimum eligibility marks (as per the norms of University of Allahabad) from a recognized University / College are eligible to apply.

Integrate:
Admission seekers should pass 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 45% (40% for SC / ST candidates) marks from any state / national board to be eligible to apply. In addition, they have to qualify LFAT, conducted by the University of Allahabad.
